General Safety & Usage Guidelines

How to Change Table Saw Blade

MAKE SURE SAW IS OFF. Remove table plate from saw.
Take wrench and wood teeth stop. Turn RIGHT to loosen the nut (It is reverse threaded)
Take off the washers. Do not drop them into the saw. They become very hard to find.
Put on new blade. Teeth facing to the RIGHT.
Place washers on blade. The bubble of the 2nd washer should be facing outwards (cupped against the blade)
Pinch blade and tighten the nut to the left. Do not over-tighten.

Table Saw Maintenance

This is the dry lube you will use for the inside of the table saw.
Brush & vacuum & clear the dust off of the gears as much as possible.  There are gears on left side of saw, and in middle of saw.
Spray the clean gears with the lube. Have somebody turn the wheels on the outside of the saw while you spray so it gets full coverage.
Also spray the part behind the blade that rotates.
This is the wax for the top of the table saw. Spread it on the surface of the table saw.
Use a cloth or paper towel to buff the wax out on the table. It should not be clumpy.  Surface should feel smooth and slick aftewards.
Make sure to re-level the saw blade to 90 degrees after being cleaned. Shown below.

Setting Angle of Table Saw Blade

Zero the digital angle gauge to the surface of the table saw.
The gauge is found attached to the underside of the table saw. It is magnetic.
Attach the angle gauge (it's magnetic) to the blade. It should NOT be touching the teeth.
Turn the angle wheel on the table saw until the digital gauge displays the number you want.

Setting Up the Power Feeder

This is a power feeder. It keeps your fingers safe from the blade.

Clamp the power feeder base to the table saw and then adjust the various knobs and wheels so that it looks generally like this. We'll make micro-adjustments from here.

Adjust the pitch of the power feeder so that the wheels are contacting the wood in the front and the back.

Adjust the height of the table saw blade so that it can cut through the wood, but will not contact the power feeder itself.

Set the table saw outfeed table at an angle so that the cut wood will fall into the crates.
