How to Sand Wine Stave Platters

Sand each stave individually using the Random Orbital Sander with 80 grit sandpaper.  Pay special attention to all exterior edges so it will feel nice in the hand and not produce any splinters.

Hand sand in between the cut end of the staves to eliminate hairy parts left from miter saw flush cut.  Also check each stave edges to make sure there aren't any splinters waiting to happen.
