How to Cut Wine Stave Platters to Size

Batch Size: 10

Time Standard: 15 minutes

1.  After a few hours use the pull saw to cut the feet off flush with the edge of the staves.  Try not to scratch up the staves too much or you will have additional sanding later.

2.  Set up the Platter Cutting Jig  so the right side is aligned to the blade.  The alignment block on the bottom should help with alignment.

3.  Place the feet over the green block.  Take a few passes to cut the right side of the staves flush.  It may be helpful to use the depth stop on the miter saw.

Next step: Sanding (take to Sand Land drop zone)
