Routing Trophy Shelf Parts

Using the table router, set the chamfer bit in the router to 0.5"

Shelf parts get three edges routed on the top and bottom of the board.  Pay attention to the edges as this is a good opportunity to eliminate imperfections.  The side that doesn't get routed will be attached to the backer eventually, so you can route off dented edges or other imperfections or at least plan on hiding bad parts of the board towards the non-routed edge.  

Backer parts get all four edges routed on the front side of the board, the back side doesn't get routed..  You should do your routing on the best side of the board as this is the side that will be seen when it is hanging on the wall.
