How to Laser Wine Stave Trays
Load 5 bases into the laser and align them on the cardboard jig
At the time of making this guide we are NOT using the top left slot. It doesn't come out as neatly as the other so do not use it.
Head to the computer and open RDworks if its not already. Import the file by either "Control + I" or File > Import and choose the file that needs to be lasered. Find the order form/s that correspond with the file.
NOTE: Power setting change from time to time. ask Riley or Carolyn if settings need changed
Download and name the files and press ok
Ex:fix
8 character limit
No spaces or special characters
Close the lid and head the the control panel.
Press File and find your file and press enter. Most recent ones will be at the top with zero on run count.
Press start, if its a full file it will take about 45 minutes
After the file has finished place the order forms on the corresponding wine base, and collect them. Place them on the table next to the laser for polly.
Lightly sand the top of the base. Going over the design 3 or 4 times
Use the sponge to apply an THIN even coat of poly to the base. Do not use too much or it will be very messy
place the base on the cart to dry. When you have no files left to laser or the cart is full, take it to be assembled.
