How to Prime State Shaped Frames

Batch Size: N/A

Time Standard: N/A

Pour primer into spray bottle

Add some water and stir well with a plastic knife.  The goal is to achieve a thickness that doesn't pile up when it comes off the stirring knife, but not thinner.  Primer should spray freely at this point, if it doesn't, either the gun is clogged or the paint isn't stirred well enough.

Set states on the state spraying stand.  Most states will balance by positioning the nails from the stand in the corners of the photo inset.

Some states will require you to use the secondary stand and prop the states up on the blocks with screws on them if they don't balance around the photo inset.

Turn the spray nozzle in a horizontal pattern and rotate the state around using the handles of the stand.  The spray gun should stay relatively static.

Once you've sprayed the edges do a coat on the top in one direction, then turn the state 90 degrees and spray perpendicular to the last direction.

Set them to dry for two to three hours at minimum.
