Packing Backers

Unless we can find cheper cardboard sheets, all backers are cut from 36" x 48" single wall corrugated sheets.  Cut using old crosscut blade or general blade on the table saw.  ALSO, cut backers so corrugation runs horizontal.

How to cut 12"x6" Packing Backers.  Each sheet produces 17 backers, a batch is 5 sheets cut to produce 85 backers.  It is important that we get a full 12"x6" backer because the packing method relies on friction, so even though in theory we could get 36 backers per sheet, as long as we are cutting on a table saw we can only get 17 good ones.

How to cut 20" x 8" Packing Backers.  Each sheet produces 12 - 20"x8" backers, and two 12"x6" backers.  A batch is 5 sheets cut to produce 60 - 20"x8" backers and 10 - 12"x6" backers.
