How to Machine & Assemble MJH

Your guide to make and assemble mason jar holders. Everything you need to machine mason jar holders.

First make sure you are using the right offset: Frank Offsets

Marshall's Almighty MJH Flow Chart

Please examine and understand the flow chart. The machine should be running almost constantly.

While the machine runs, you should be assembling the MJH, assembling bases, and selecting wood for the next file.

There is time.

Machining MJH:

**Before starting, check Frank CNC page to double check which offset is needed!**

Install Jig -- align left corner to be square with waste-board

Select Wood -- at the bottom of this page is a flowchart to help you decide if the wood is good or bad.

Put wood in jig. Hammer the wedges in.

Zero Bit to the top of the material.

Run File -- before starting the file, make sure the router is on!

Assemble Bases -- set base against stopper, nail an end to it. Flip around and do same thing against the other stopper.

Each Classic File = 4 MJH

Each Mini File = 8 MJH

Pull wood out of jig in proper order.

For Classic MJH, the pairs are next to each other. I labeled them in the picture.

For Mini MJH, each piece of wood is a single MJH. The backside of the box will be a blank piece of wood.

Move the file you just cut into the "already cut" folder.

Load next file and run it.

Assemble MJH -- Center the engraved wood over the base, and follow the nailing order of the picture
