How to Cut MJH Ends
Batch Size: 120 ends (60 if you're cutting Jumbo)
Time Standard: 30 minutes (15 if you're cutting jumbo)
Mason Jar Holder Ends should be cut from scrap material using the general blade on the table saw. It's important that they end up 3.25"x3.25" and actually square so the MJH sits flat once assembled.
Set the fence to 3.25" and cut to width across the grain first. This should be 4" if you're cutting Jumbo.
Rotate it 90 degrees so the side with back of your initial cut with the tear out gets cut off. You should now have a 3.25" x 3.25" square for standard ends. Jumbo ends should measure 4"x3.25".
Stack these in a red crate with the grain all going in the same direction so material prep people don't get confused.
