How to Laser Barrel Rounds

Find the barrel round jig from the cabinet next to the small laser. 

Align it in the laser with the two tape lines on the side of the laser and the carboard jig.

Select a wine round or bourbon depending of the type file being ran. Wine rounds have purple on the bottom

Align the Barrel round on the jig, making sure its lined up on the same color. 

You can frame the file and use the red laser to help align it to be straight. You may need to lower the tray.

If you need to lower the tray, press the Z/U button and hold the right arrow to go down and the left arrow to go up.

Select your file "File > Import" or "control + I". Download it and name it. Head to the control panel, press file and find the name of you file and press enter.


If you need to change the power settings, double click on the red (cut) or the Black (scan) layer. Click on parameter library and select "Barrel round charcuterie Scan" for the scan layer.  "Barrel round charcuterie cut" for the cut layer

Power and speed for Barrel/bourbon rounds if needed.

Red Cut layer 
              Speed: 95
              Power: 13

Black Scan layer
              Speed: 250
              Power: 35

Auto focus it, Frame it and make sure it is lined up and straight, Close the lid and press start. 

To auto focus press the Z/U button and navigate down to auto focus using the arrows and press enter. Make sure the focus foot will hit the material being lasered.

Time: < 5mins


After the file is finished collect the product and order form and set it off to the side for polly

Give it a light sand on the top, then use the sponge to lightly coat it in the polly and set it on the cart once finished to dry.
